Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is currently two years through the four-year deal he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the maiden important achievement of his illustrious career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would certainly think about extending his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
